Why you chose to participate in Community School and how you chose your project/focus

 

2. Description of Project/s one paragraph per placement (if more than one)

Give each placement or project a name/title

Original vision

What actually happened

Mentor/s Ð who, how you interacted, what you learned from him/her

Other ways in which you learned, and what you learned

 

3. Time and Learning Summary

1 Ð 2 paragraphs summarizing major activities and learnings (use categories from log cover sheet)

 

4. Montana Content Standards Self-Assessment

Identify the top 3 to 5 state standards (by cluster, or individual standard if appropriate) in which you had significant achievement.

For each of the top standard, estimate hours spent

In a paragraph or two, discuss what you learned and how  you grew in the areas of those standards. 

 

 


5. Learner's Reflection  one paragraph each as follows

What have these project/s meant to you?  What is different about your life, your sense of the world, your plan for the future?

Compare/contrast your experience of learning in Community School vs. regular classes

Make recommendations for future students, structure of the program, way/s it should be structured, dos/don'ts for all concerned

 

6. Appendix:  Examples and Artifacts (Annotated)

Include 1 Ð 5 actual examples of work from your experience Ð may be as simple as scribbled notes where you were trying to figure something out, a photograph of the computer screen, a program or handout...

Write a short statement (sentence to a paragraph) about each artifact included. 

 

II. Oral  Presentation (5+ minutes, to Bowen, possibly Mr. Fusaro and/or other district people)

Selected aspects from written paper, plus demonstration/stories/artifacts as appropriate;  Q&A.
